Athletics is an important part of the Robinson School’s extra-curriculum programs. The school environment gives students of all levels of experience an opportunity to participate in athletics building individual and team skills that are essential for personal growth. The Robinson School is currently offering Prep and Post Grad Basketball and is in the planning process for the addition of other sports.
Post Graduate (PG) Basketball
The Robinson School is proud to offer a very intense and comprehensive Post Graduate (PG) Basketball program in the state. Unlike most post graduate programs, our eleven-month program, August – June, is designed specifically to prepare young men for collegiate athletics after they have graduated from a traditional high school. This program is optimized to provide the best in basketball training while enhancing the college recruitment opportunities of the athlete. Students may also prepare for college entrance exams or take courses for college credit during this period. Competition includes (but is not limited to) top junior colleges and high-level prep/post grad tournaments around the nation. Athletes participate in on-court workouts each day along with athletic performance training, and receive mentor-ship and guidance in the college recruitment and selection process.
Student-Athletes who attend The Robinson School will get individual workouts from coaches who have trained over 200 scholarships athletes!!!!! Individual attention in speed, agility, quickness, defensive principles, ball-handling, passing, shooting and much more. Student Athletes will benefit from being seen by the top coaches in the country during practice, games and at national tournaments. The Robinson School promotes the team concept of basketball with every student-athlete making a sacrifice of personal goals for team goals. The Robinson School student-athletes will be the best conditioned, coached and well rounded players. The athletic program at The Robinson School is a mentoring program that will take young men and prepare them for the rigors of college academics and athletics. The Robinson School is one of the only prep/post grad schools in New Jersey where all the coaches played college basketball!!!
