Hawthorne makes plans

 

6 foot 5 former Union Catholic star David Hawthorne has made his plans for this season.

Hawthorne is spending a postgraduate season playing for the Robinson School.

Hawthorne was in a serious auto accident his senior season and was in a medically induced coma, suffered brain swelling and a broken leg.

Early in his career on the AAU circuit he was named Honorable Mention All Tournament at Gym Rats, All Tournament at Hoop Group Fall Jam Fest

He was also chosen as a Hoop Group Elite Super Soph All Star

The summer before his senior season he was chosen All Tournament at Gym Rats Challenge.

He was ranked among NJ Hoops top 60 seniors in the class of 2014. Because of the accident he did not graduate that season and later graduated from Irvington High.
