Robinson School alumni Corey Taite named CACC Player of the Week

Congratulations to Robinson School alumni Corey Taite on being named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Taite, a junior guard scored a career-best 40 points Saturday, shot 14-for-18 from the line in addition to getting four 3-pointers, four assists and three rebounds in a wild 113-111 Goldey-Beacom victory over Adelphi. Taite ended his week averaging 27.5 points on 17-of-37 shooting with nine assists, six 3-pointers and five rebounds over two games.

Again serving as one of the catalysts for a strong offense and defense, Taite is 15th in the country with 26 steals, 19th with 63 made free throws, 30th with 2.36 steals per game, 82nd with 380 minutes and fifth in the league with 18.0 points per contest.

Taite moved into 14th in school history with 853 career points, climbed to eighth with 204 assists, escalated to fifth with 223 career free throws and is sixth with 126 steals.
