Dickerson Makes Pick

6-foot-4 Asbury Park Sr. Maurice Dickerson has made his plans for next season. Dickerson will spend a post-graduate season at the Robinson School.

Dickerson helped lead the Blue Bishops to a 25-6 record, Group 1 state title and final NJ Hoops ranking of 22nd in the state. The athletic wing was named MVP of the Group 1 championship contest. He averaged 19.9 ppg, 8.8 rpg and 3.4 spg with 35 3’s.

He had a season high 36 points in a win over Red Bank Catholic and went over the 1,000 career point plateau in February.

As a junior Dickerson averaged 18.8 ppg and 7.1 rpg with 27 treys.

Dickerson was ranked among NJ Hoops top 100 seniors.
