I think the Robinson School is a great program. Being at the Robinson School didn't just teach me sports it taught me life lessons, how to be a stand up gentleman, it also taught me what it takes to be the best. As far as the coaching staff they also did a great job. Coach Mick and staff teaching me the game getting my IQ better and pushing me to be in phenomenal shape. Coach Rob and Coach Seneca are great strength and conditioning coaches making sure I don't pull muscles but also getting us in the best shape of our lives. Coach Aaron helped us as well talking to us about college life, eating right and competing every play we're on the court. I've become a better basketball player but more importantly a better person. The Robinson School has a standard that has been raised each year and coach Vince will let you know what he expects. It's definitely not easy there were days I questioned if I wanted to play college ball but once I got into shape things worked themselves out. I made 2nd team Post Grad All American and we finished the season 31-2 best record in TRS history. My teammates and I all received FULL SCHOLARSHIPS #TRS

My Experience at The Robinson School (TRS) was definitely a year to remember from September to June. Since the first day I walked in that gym I thought everything was going to be easy but as soon as the session was over I asked myself is basketball what I really want to do knowing that I have to put in all the hardwork, and be better than everybody else. Early in the year I was the laziest player at TRS but as the year went on I overcame that by listening to my coaches and having to overcome my obstacles and knowing that I have a team to lead. Coach Vince, Coach Mick , Coach Seneca, Coach Craig & Coach Rob pushed me harder and harder everyday to be the best player and person I can be . Being a Student athlete at The Robinson School was not easy at all with ACT Prep , Practice and weight room everyday & having to do Homework all night. Since then I have become a better Student Athlete & earned conference Player Of The Year award and I'm prepared to work harder and harder everyday.

Attending the Robinson School to me was more of a learning process. Considering the fact that I never came of the bench in high school, I had to learn that I will not always be the best player on my team. It kind of affected the confidence in my game at first but I was able to adjust to the program. I learned that you dont always have to be the best player or a starter to have an affect on the game. Also I would like to thank Vincent Robinson in believing in me and forcing me to work to my best ability.

I had a great experience at The Robinson School. I learned a lot not only on the court but off the court as well. All the coaches at TRS pushed us to fullest and I thank them for all they done to help me become a better player on the court. I lost 20 pounds from the strength and conditioning program. I wish all future student-athletes attending the Robinson school a good luck and to continue having winning seasons.

My experience at the Robinson School was truly one to remember. I remember walking in the first day thinking I had an idea of what hard work was but I definitely didn't , from the endless running to the calling plays out to becoming a leader really showed me what hard work and persistence meant. I was blessed to get a chance to play at the Robinson School I've gotten so much better physically and mentally. It's was all a process and Vince doesn't lie you need to have heart if you want to play here not everybody can take the tough love they give. Practice, weight training , conditioning and ACT prep is a battle you need to prepare for as an Student Athlete. Throughout the course of the season I've lost 15-20 pounds not for anybody else but for my self , so I can be the best basketball player I can possibly be. I really appreciate and thank God for Coach Robinson, Coach Mick and the whole TRS staff without them pushing me I would not be the player or person I am today.

Playing with the Robinson school was one of the best athletic experiences I've had. It's always fun when you win, but the program has also made me a stronger, smarter, and more skilled player. They have one of the best coaching staffs I've ever played for & thorough out the season the team became more like family to me.

I had great time at the Robinson School. It was one of the best basketball programs I've been involved with. The coaches always push you to be the best and they'll never make you settle for anything less. They push you to see your full potential. By the time you leave you'll become way better player and better person. I had whole lot of fun this year with my great teammates and coaches. I wish the best to future Robinson School players and staff.

Robert LewisMy experience at The Robinson School was great, the staff prepared me mentally and physically for the next level while giving me the best exposure at the post grad level. I learned how to compete every play and take care of my body. Coach Vince and staff really push you to be a better person and player. The coaching staff is very tough and don't allow you to get away with anything. I still speak to them weekly as their mentorship has not stopped. I'm a work in progress for greatness.

Robinson School was great. We work on our skills and strength and we competed everyday. The best part about The Robinson School is the open runs with the pros. If you want to get better and become a tough player it's the school. The 1st 2 months were HELL but we got thru it and became a better team as we went 31-2 finishing #2 in the country. Me and all my teammates received scholarships

Corey TaiteI would like to thank the Robinson school for believing in me and helping me get to the next level in my basketball career. While at the school I learned that with hard work and dedication you could achieve anything and you will see results. The program helped me become a better basketball player in all aspects of the game . He believed in suffer now and enjoy later . Meaning that you suffer when you go through all the hard training and working out before the season. But when the season comes you enjoy the victories and success that came with the hard work. I thank and appreciate everything the program and Vince has done for me .

The Robinson School is a great place for serious student athletes looking to take their game to the next level. In my experience the coaching staff pushed us every day, testing us physically, mentally, and sometimes emotionally. The lessons I learned during my time at The Robinson School, go way beyond the parameters of the court. The coaching staff does an exceptional job in preparing its players mentally and physically for the college experience, and without Coach Vince, Tarell, Chuck, and Vin I would not be the man I am today.

The Robinson School was hands down one of my best experiences. I came into the program late and every player and coach accepted me like I had been the for years. In my time at the Robinson School I learned hard work pays off. I watched as some of my teammates grew to elite levels on and off the court. Coach V pushed us to strive for excellence and always told us that's college is the ultimate goal. It will enable us to grow and prosper into all that we can be, if we embrace it. I am proudly in my 2nd year of college and I took with me all the knowledge and wisdom that this program instilled in us. If you are looking to grow as a young man the Robinson School is where you need to be.

My time spent at The Robinson School helped me become a great player on & off the court. My guy coach Vincent taught me many keys & attributes on becoming the great player I am today. His keys to victory was always "great defense will always turn into great offense". Going into every game I took defense as my main focus. I thank you coach V because my defense is what got me into the school I am today.

The Robinson school made me a man. The coaching staff saw potential of greatness in me and pushed me harder than ever before. Being there for that year saved my basketball career. My teammates were great we were really close laughed argued, but most importantly respected one another. The Robinson school is ran like a family oriented program they embrace you and make you better. I built life long relationships there and still go back when I can to workout and help out with the new recruits. I would strongly recommend the Robinson school to any kid. Vince Robinson has started a powerhouse and I was glad to be apart off that.

Coach Robinson took me into his program in the middle of the year because the program that I was in unexpectedly closed down and I will always be thankful to him for that. Before he took me I thought all hope was lost. He was able to get me in to Morris College where I am currently a Junior and the starting Point Guard. Coach Robinson is great mentor and whenever I am home on break I still go and workout with him and the guys in his program Thank you again Coach Robinson for all of your help and support

At The Robinson school not only did I receive a scholarship like everyone's goal who goes to a prep school but I also improved my game and mind. I came to The Robinson school at the age of 17. I was young and slim. I needed to get stronger mentally and physically before I was ready for college basketball. Here Coach Vince Robinson, and the rest of his staff helped me become tougher physically and mentally. We did all types of drills, and we scrimmage tough and hard which helped me become mentally tougher. I'm from Long Island, NY and I travelled every single day New Jersey, there and back just for a two hour to three hour practice. That's how you know it was worth it. The exposure to college coaches was very good. I ended up receiving a NCAA d2 scholarship to Salem International.

The Robinson School was a great program to be in. Everyone there had the same goals which are to get better, win , and get a scholarship and from the coaches to the players we all were willing to put the work in to do so. I can honestly attest that the coaches not only cared about your success on the court but off it as well. I left there with a full scholarship, life long friends and an understanding of what I need to do to be successful in all aspects of life.

My experience at going to The Robinson School was a great experience which gave me the opportunity to further my education as a student as well as play the game of basketball at the college level. Playing under Coach Vince Robinson our practices were long, hard, and very physical but he pushed us to be the best of our capability and with each day of practice it made me a better player. With all the variety of workouts we did such as conditioning, ball handling, strengthening, agility you only get out what you put in. Being a player from The Robinson School it made me not only mentally tough but physical as well. I enjoyed being able to travel playing against other schools outside of the state because with every game we were given a chance to play in front of scouts, recruits, to prove to them why we deserve to play at the next level.

My name is Victor Reid a former student of The Robinson School, after I graduated high school I basically had no hopes of moving on to the next level both on the court and in the class room and by class room I mean to attain a college education. However The Robinson School changed that with the dedication and hard work from Vincent Robinson and staff they made my dream of being a college student athlete possible. They motivated my teammates and I to get to the next level currently we are all in college pursuing a degree and playing the sport that we love. The Robinson school maximized my skill set & brought out confidence I never had in me. Not just on the court but off. Before The Robinson School, I didn't have any offers but when i started my prep year at TRS, i lost count of how many I had. The ACT preparation was also very beneficial. I improved my score by 5 points. The coaching staff is like no other. Coach Robinson, Rell, & Rob all care about the players like their own. They interacted with us on & off the floor. I would highly recommend the Robinson School.

The Robinson was a great experience. It was a family atmosphere with great coaches and trainers welling to help you get better at all times. Before coming to the Robinson school I had trouble trusting coaches and some parts of school but at the Robinson coach V as we will call him or unc as i will call him, showed me that every coach is different and there are some who really have your back and want to see you succeed. At the Robinson school I did not get to only find great coaches but also great teammates. My teammates and I went on a journey that will never be forgotten. It was just a hard nose group of kids willing to give it all online against the nation top prep schools and we did that, and came out at the end of year as one of the top prep schools in the country. Lastly, coach V and his staff before I committed there told me that if I come work hard and get the job done in the class room that I will gain even more interest and get more schools and I did that, and now I'm at Manhattan College a division 1 school and now one of the top mid majors in the country. But, not only did I commit and get a scholarship but everyone on my team had a school and scholarship and at the end of the day we all WON thanks to coach V and the Robinson school staff. This is my Robinson school experience.

It could get hard at times but Coach Vincent always talked us thru things. Wether it was telling us to go harder or just encouraging us when we where down. Vincent definitely made me a better person. It was a great experience not just for an extra year of ball but also for life.. got stronger mentally and physically . It brought out my killer instinct side of me that I wasn't really showing during my high school years I learned that you get out whatever you put into it.. if you work harder than everyone it will show if you slack and aren't focused it will show but most importantly learned to be a student of the game and learn everything I can from those who been thru it already.
