Jones changes courses

6 foot 8 recent Westside grad Justin Jones has changed his plans for this season.

Jones had signed with Three Rivers Junio College in Poplar Bluff Missouri but has changed his plans and is doing a postgraduate season with the Robinson School.

Last season he helped Westside to a 25-7 record, Group 2 state championship and final NJ Hoops ranking of 34th in the state.

He averaged 4 ppg and 6 rpg but broke a bone in his foot late in the season and missed the state tournament run. He grabbed 21 rebounds a game against Central

As a junior he netted 5 ppg and 7 rpg with a high of 16 against East Orange.

NJ Hoops provides blanket coverage of NJ basketball all year long for the past 22 years and is proud to continue to be the NJ nominating source for the McDonald’s All American game.
